The Jana E. Pinker Memorial Foundation holds three fundraisers a year. We are looking into the possibility to expand our fundraising base in the future.
Memorial Golf Tournament - June 18, 2008 The 2008 Memorial Golf Tournament will be held at Prairie Highlands Golf Course in Olathe. This year's event will be held on Wednesday, June 18 in the afternoon. This has been a very rewarding event and we would like to thank all our corporate sponsors, Fales Pediatric Dentistry, Mainville Insurance Agency, Feret Insurance. The Truffle Shuffle -March 1, 2008 The Truffle Shuffle is a 5k family fun run/walk held every year the 1st Saturday in March at Johnson County Community College. The past year was one of our most successful events to date. We greatly appreciate all our volunteers and participants. Complimentary Texas Hold'Em Tournament In 2007, St. James Academy was gracious enough to help host our 1st Annual Scholarship Charity Dinner and Complimentary Texas Hold'Em Poker Tournament, March 3. We would also like to thank Johnny's Tavern for sponsoring the buffet. The proceeds of this dinner go to fund this event and two organizations in support of Johnson County’s youth. The Jana E. Memorial Foundation is proud to announce our 8th college scholarship for high school seniors in Johnson County, a county-wide essay contest. In addition, proceeds go to St. James Academy’s football and wrestling programs.
